Club Bowls Information

Arrival Time for Bowling

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled draw so that the games director has time to set up the game. You ,may phone in your reservation, but you must arrive before the scheduled bowling time.

Dress

Whites are required on Saturday, Sunday, holidays, and for all tournaments. (Exception: USLBA allows team colors.)

Holidays for the purpose of whites: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

No Smoking or Alcohol

Smoking is prohibited within the fenced area of the club. No alcohol on the greens. City ordinance prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages except with a meal in Heisler Park and the Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club.

Dues & Fees

Initiation Fee    ……………………   $50

Annual Dues      ……………………   $125 due November 1

Green Fee          ……………………   $1 per day

                                                (Exception: no charge to bowlers practicing for a USLBA event

                                                                    hosted by our club the next day.)

Scheduled Bowls

12:30 p.m.       Monday, Wednesday

10:00 a.m.       Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

9:00 a.m.       Saturday, Sunday

Challenge Days

Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday ……………………   Self-arranged games can be played at any time of the day,

                                                                          including during scheduled bowling hours. (Note: Challenge

                                                                          games are NOT ALLOWED during scheduled bowling hours on

                                                                          other days of the week)

Practice

Individuals may practice at any time except when tournaments are in progress. No doubles or other matches. Bowlers must practice as a single only.
